Nadcap used to be the acronym NADCAP which stood for National Aerospace and Defence Contractors Accreditation Program but was changed to Nadcap in recognition of the internationalisation of the programme. It is now the Performance Review Institute's (PRI) brand name for the industry-managed programme for special processes in the aerospace industry.
As such Nadcap is the leading, worldwide co-operative programme of major companies designed to manage a cost effective consensus approach to special processes and products and provide continual improvement within the aerospace industry.
